Products & orders
Add and edit products, photographs, descriptions, size options, prices and stock. Hide or archive items and manage orders where the shop module is included.
THE SECTOR OS WEBSITE SERVICE
Your skills are in your business. You should not need to learn AI, write code or work out how all the pieces fit together to have a professional website.
We bring the design, shop or booking tools, private dashboard and ongoing care into one clearly agreed service.
The setup preview is exploratory. Your project scope, price and available features are confirmed before you commit.
MORE THAN THE FRONT PAGE
A good-looking page is one part of the job. The catalogue, editing controls, customer journey, account access, connections and testing all need attention too. We make those responsibilities clear from the start.
FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO DAILY USE
We agree what your website needs to do, what you sell, which tools you need and who will manage it. Your written scope sets out the price, content responsibilities, editing controls and support allowance.
Review the main pages on desktop and mobile: your homepage, services or collections, and the booking or product journey. We agree the included design revisions before building.
The approved design is connected to your catalogue, forms, dashboard and agreed tools. We configure the editing controls included in your project so your everyday changes have a clear home.
You supply approved information, images and prices. We load the agreed initial content and check the journeys in scope: saving edits, enquiries, products, bookings, delivery and payments where connected.
After the agreed checks and your approval, we launch and show you how to use your dashboard. Your monthly licence then covers the hosting, included tools and ongoing care defined in your plan.
CONTROL WITHOUT THE COMPLICATION
Your client login gives you access to your own business. You edit content in agreed places while the layout and styling stay consistent.
Add and edit products, photographs, descriptions, size options, prices and stock. Hide or archive items and manage orders where the shop module is included.
Update designated text, images, galleries, contact details and opening hours through the controls agreed for your site.
Manage promotional content where those controls are included. Scheduled campaigns and automated messages require the relevant module and connection.
Choose or reorder approved sections where a section editor has been enabled. New layouts and structural changes are scoped separately.
Agreed controls, demonstrated before handover. Editing permissions and tools depend on your package and the completed build. We do not assume every site includes every control listed above.
A WEBSITE WITH ROOM TO DO MORE
Your website can become the front door to a wider business system. Start with the tools that solve today's problems, then add supported capabilities when you need them.
Build your agreed setup around a shop, product options, gift vouchers, appointment requests, classes or ticketed events. We confirm the availability, payment connection and working journey for each selected tool.
Bring relevant orders, bookings, customer records and tasks into authorised workspaces. The tools included in your package help you manage the work behind the website.
Use supported Ask Dougie tools and compatible connections to extend your website. An app may work through a hosted page, an embedded tool, a link or a platform-specific plug-in. We check the fit; not every tool installs on every website.
Use your agreed review and support allowance to discuss new ideas and priorities. We help identify the next useful step, explain the options and plan additions around your business.
Your package lists the exact tools and connections. Some capabilities are pilots or planned. Additional app licences, provider subscriptions, integration work or usage charges may apply; these are explained before activation.
Explore the business tools and current availability →ONGOING DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE
A first website should give you a useful foundation. Your ongoing service provides an agreed route to discuss improvements rather than leaving you to work out the next technical step alone.
Within your plan's review allowance, discuss new services, a bigger catalogue or a changing customer journey. We help prioritise useful improvements and clarify the work and cost involved.
Relevant tested fixes and improvements to the included shared tools form part of the maintenance scope agreed for your plan. New tools and major capabilities are assessed separately; a development roadmap is not a promise that every feature is already available.
Extra pages, a new booking workflow, another supported app or a bespoke integration can be planned as a separate project or upgrade. You approve the scope, price and timing before work begins. Your monthly licence does not include unlimited bespoke development.
PROPOSED WEBSITE SERVICE LEVELS
Basic, Pro and Gold describe the proposed website service and assistance level below. They are distinct from the existing Basic/Pro sector-tool bundles. Your final quote names the website level and exact tools together, so included tools are not charged twice.
For commercial review. These are proposed allowances, not active subscriptions or a readiness guarantee. The earlier indicative prices still need checking against this scope. We confirm price, included modules, availability, responsibilities and support hours before you commit. Gold is not currently an enabled software entitlement.

A main page is a designed content page; routine product pages and system policy pages do not use that page allowance. Product caps apply only where a shop is the selected core workflow. A design review is one consolidated round of feedback.
Content assistance covers small changes to supplied text or images within existing layouts. Time does not roll over; unused minutes are not a credit. Calls, meetings and work within an allowance are scheduled through the agreed support route. Fault handling follows the maintenance scope and does not use the routine content-editing allowance.
Growth reviews provide advice and priorities. They do not automatically include implementing every suggestion. Extra pages, additional catalogue capacity, new modules, custom integration, major redesigns, copywriting and photography need an agreed quote.
MANAGED SYSTEMS · INDIVIDUAL QUOTE
Available as an agreed managed-service arrangement alongside the appropriate website and tools. The scope, access model and operational checks must be agreed before the service starts.
Some tools and editing controls are pilots or in development. Each selected workflow must be configured and verified for the client before launch. No new plan is purchased, enabled or billed from this comparison.

BEFORE YOU SAY YES
PLAIN ANSWERS
No. You tell us about your business and provide the information customers need. We handle the build. Your dashboard uses everyday labels such as Products, Orders and Settings; you do not need to operate a development tool.
Yes, through the editing controls included in your project. We confirm these before you commit and demonstrate them before handover. A product editor does not automatically include a full page-layout editor.
That is exactly why clear controls, a guided handover and an agreed support route matter. We show you the tasks you actually need to do. You can also ask for a separately priced managed-content service.
No. Some tools are demonstrations, pilots or planned features. Your proposal identifies what is available for your project, what requires configuration, and any dependencies before launch. A visual preview is not proof that a payment or automation is active.
We connect the agreed working functions and editable content, add the included initial content and run the agreed checks. Design approval is a milestone; final launch follows functional testing and your approval.
No. It covers the hosting, tools, maintenance and support specified in your plan. Content entry, new pages, redesigns, new integrations and additional training may be separately charged. We agree additional work and its price before starting.
Your quote states how many products or pages we will initially enter and what material you need to supply. Further product entry can be done by you, or commissioned as an additional service. Photographs, descriptions, prices and usage permissions need your approval.
A preview can show the journey before payments are active. Selling requires your business payment account, confirmed products and prices, delivery arrangements and the agreed launch checks. Test orders are not real paid orders.
Before you sign, we confirm domain registration and access, ownership and licensing of supplied material, the available data exports, cancellation terms and any migration work or fees. Exporting shop data is different from transferring the complete hosted software.
Yes. Your agreed review and support allowance gives you a route to discuss improvements, choose suitable tools and plan the next stage. Additional licences, substantial new features and bespoke development are scoped and priced before work starts.
No. Compatibility depends on the website platform, the tool and the connection method. We check the supported options before agreeing an integration; a hosted app or link is not the same as a downloadable plug-in.
Your service agreement states the support channel, working hours, response targets and included allowance. We do not promise round-the-clock or unlimited support unless it is explicitly part of your agreement.
